What will you do as a Project Manager Asset Management?

As an Project Manager Asset Management, you are responsible for projects that ensure the lifespan and operational readiness of Defense equipment. You define maintenance strategies, coordinate with suppliers and colleagues and oversee execution. In this role, you directly influence the reliability and deployability of weapon systems.

Your main tasks include:

Leading projects focused on the sustainment of military equipment;
Developing, monitoring and improving maintenance strategies;
Managing employees and coordinating project teams;
Aligning with suppliers, operational units and technical experts;
Ensuring compliance with military and technical requirements;
Reporting on progress, quality and results to management.

What do you need for this role?

As an Project Manager Asset Management, you combine technical and logistical expertise with leadership and project management skills. You make decisions that have a major impact on the deployability of Defense assets.

Education & knowledge:

A bachelors or masters degree, preferably in engineering, logistics or business administration;
Experience with ILS (Integrated Logistics Support) and asset management projects;
Knowledge of maintenance and logistics processes;
Experience with project management methodologies (such as PRINCE2 or IPMA) is a plus.
