As a starting point, you will need a bachelor’s degree in engineering, together with excellent mathematical ability and analytical skills. Proficiency in process engineering software systems and IT in general is also a must for this role, plus sector-specific knowledge in the relevant health and safety regulations. The salary for a Process Engineer will depend on a number of factors such as the type and size of organisation, your qualifications and experience, and the seniority of the role on offer. As a guide, you can expect a salary of between €38.900,- and €71.300,- per annum in the Netherlands.
