ILS Specialist at Defense

What will you do as a ILS Specialist?

You help keep aircraft flying and vehicles operational. Without your work, the armed forces cannot operate safely. As an ILS Specialist, you contribute to everything required to keep Defense equipment mission-ready. You are involved in the full logistical preparation and support surrounding maintenance, spare parts and systems.

Your main tasks include:

• Contributing to project documents such as the Statement of Requirements and ILS plans;
• Reviewing supplier proposals and deliverables;
• Determining required spare parts, test equipment, tools and training;
• Configuring systems and entering item data into SAP;
• Preparing introduction and decommissioning instructions for equipment;
• Supporting the introduction of new weapon systems.
