What will you do as a Asset Manager Level 2?

As an Asset Manager Level 2, you play a key role in maintaining weapon systems and components. You ensure that logistics processes are not only executed effectively but also continuously improved. You monitor inventory levels, delivery reliability and repair processes and advise on how operations can be optimized for greater efficiency.

Your main tasks include:

  • Performing logistics analyses, forecasting and spare provisioning;
  • Preparing and coordinating plans and reports;
  • Monitoring lead times for orders and repairs and coordinating with suppliers;
  • Managing assortments and performing demand/supply chain planning in SAP;
  • Advising on inventory availability, delivery reliability and supply chain logistics;
  • Identifying obsolete components and proposing solutions (last time buys, modifications);
  • Overseeing internal and external repair processes and resolving bottlenecks.

In short, as an Asset Manager Level 2, you are the logistics professional who turns analysis into action. You ensure reliable inventory and deliveries, monitor turnaround times and contribute to process improvements. Thanks to your work, weapon systems remain operational, enabling Defense to operate efficiently and effectively.

What do you need for this role?

As an Asset Manager Level 2, you combine logistics expertise with a coordinating mindset. You work with complex data and translate analyses into concrete supply chain improvements.

Education & knowledge:

  • A bachelor’s degree in logistics, business administration or a related field;
  • Additional training in inventory management, supply chain and maintenance management;
  • Proficiency in technical English;
  • Solid experience in material logistics, inventory management and supply chain operations;
  • Experience in coordinating or leadership role.
