The Netherlands Industries for Defense and Security (NIDV) is a leading network organization that connects companies, knowledge institutions and government parties within the defense and security sector. Since its foundation in 1984, the NIDV has played a central role in strengthening the Dutch position, both nationally and internationally.

The organization acts as an information provider, advocate and networking platform. With more than 350 affiliated organizations, the NIDV represents an important part of the Dutch defense and security industry and promotes collaboration at national, European and NATO level.
